Date Mar 27, 2020

Start Time: 11:00 am

End Time: 12:00 pm

Location Originally: MIT, Cambridge, Massachusetts, Now Virtual!

Unfortunately, the 2020 in-person conference at MIT has been postponed until 2021... but we remain ready to present to you!

By going virtual, we have extended our 20 minute time slot to a 60 minute webinar so that we can share the story of the revitalization of the Brunk District in Germany and better connect the important lessons learned with your work toward the revitalization of buildings in North America.

We would have loved to have presented this in person but hope you will join us virtually until we are able to meet in person when the conference takes place again in 2021.

About the project:
The Brunckviertel district in Ludwigshafen, Germany, a workers’ housing estate dating back to the 1930s, was comprehensively refurbished from 1997 to 2006. Coordinated modernization measures in the field of renewable energies and thermal insulation reduce CO2 emissions and save heating costs. Facade insulation featuring materials made of Neopor® formed the heart of the renovation project.
