To further assure their customers of SureTight's quality, their products are third-party tested and they are approved by the Housing Standards Division of the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development to produce housing components for use in Pennsylvania. SureTight's structural insulated panels have been evaluated for compliance with the 2006 International Building Code (IBC) and the 2006 International Residential Code (IRC) by NTA, Inc. of Nappanee, IN.
SureTight SIPs
SureTight Insulated Panel Corporation, in collaboration with OPCO, a leading molder of EPS foam panels, created a recognized brand of SIP panels known as SureTight. BASF's Neopor® is a key ingredient in the success of SureTight SIPs.
By being the first to actively seek and receive NTA certification for SIPs made from Neopor, SureTight and OPCO have paved the way for other SIP manufacturers to easily receive certification for their products. Obtaining certification from NTA, a nationally recognized third party accredited testing service, provides the standards that other products need to meet without going through the expense, time and testing.
